terminology

commission type

icon -> a 400x400 piece meant to serve as a low/mid quality pfp/icon image, can be a head/bust, halfbody, or fullbody
chibi -> a small, simplified depiction of a character in a cuter style, always a fullbody
head/bust -> depicting the character from the shoulders up, may include detatched hands or objects
halfbody -> depicting the character from the waist/mid thigh up
fullbody -> depicting the full character from head to toe
reference sheet -> depicting a fullbody, a chibi sprite, color palette, two small details & one of the following options: two head/busts or one halfbody

commission style

sketch -> a refined but rough pencil drawing of a character with paper texture overlay and hatched out basic shadows
lineart -> refined, smooth outline of a character, very basic shadows may be blacked out
flat color -> a colored piece of a character with basic blocking of shadows and colored lineart
rendered -> a fully painted piece with saturated shading and highlights

commission add-ons

scene -> a fleshed out background that the character is fully interacting with
objects -> any large or complex objects or pets added into the piece, small and simple objects are not considered add-ons
extra characters -> a fully separate and fleshed out character added to a piece in an interactive way, simple depictions of other characters (thought bubbles, plushies, keychains, etc.) are not considered add-ons; a character that is fully separate and does not interact in any way with the first is considered a second commission
custom -> a commission that is based solely on a verbal description and visual aids that requires me to create the majority of the design from scratch, a commission without a reference image of the character essentially
stylized -> a commission that requires me to replicate the drawing style of other media (shows, movies, etc.)

freebies

feel free to request as many of these as you'd like (within reason) with no extra charge

trinkets -> small keychains, bags, accessories, etc. that add to a characters outfit/design that are relatively small/medium sized and simple
outline -> a medium thickness solid outline surrounding the character in a color of your choice
shadow -> a solid silhouette of the character leading into the background in a color of your choice with slightly lowered opacity
thought bubbles -> thought bubbles or symbols that indicate what a character is feeling or thinking that are relatively simple
backgrounds -> simple patterns, gradients, real world images (not art), or colors in the background of a character that are relatively simple or easy to do
decor -> spirals, sparkles, hearts, symbols, etc. added around a character for some extra flair that are relatively simply or easy to do
texture -> a paper texture overlay on top of the piece that gives it a more traditional/textured feel; can be clean paper or old weathered paper texture
pngs -> a piece with a transparent/clear background; can request this version of a piece even if a second background type is also requested
text -> small/medium sized blurbs of text used as descriptions of certain aspects of a character or their lore
